This tool is designed for the technician to be able to efficiently install the back-up ring of the orifice assembly into the body of Sherwood Brut / 9000 series first stages.

The back-up ring can be installed into the first stage by placing the back-up ring on the small end of the tool and inserting it into the body of the regulator on the same side as the HP orifice. The tool should then be firmly pressed against the body and made sure it is fully seated.
