This chrome-plated brass cylinder silencer is used to reduce the noise made by the flow of air when a cylinder is being emptied. This tool can be simply screwed onto either 200 bar or 300 bar DIN valve.

We recommend opening the valve by 1/4 turn. Care has to be taken to ensure that the cylinder is properly secured: the flow of air could make an upright cylinder fall over, therefore the best position is to have the cylinder lying down.

This tool is only compatible with breathing air applications (21% O2).
