Since the knife-edge end of a flow-through piston is delicate and essential for the proper functioning of the regulator, this tool is used to guide the piston assembly though the first stage body while protecting the critical knife-edge and preventing damage to the piston stem o-ring.

The tool is placed on top of the piston - the smaller diameter shaft fits inside the piston. The piston assembly with bullet is pushed trough the first stage body and the bullet is removed at the other end once the piston assembly is in place.

Suitable for the Scubapro MK5, MK10, MK25 first stages for technicians that still wish to apply the previously recommended insertion method of the piston. This piston bullet will fit most of the balanced flow through pistons of Scubapro with the exception of some very old models.
