This height gauge is used in the final adjustment procedure of the lever height for Mares Akros and Nikos second stages.

With the second stage pressurised, the ideal demand lever height position should be checked with the height gauge by sliding the height gauge along the casing over the lever, it should touch the lever without causing an airflow. If this is not the case, adjustment can be done by tightening or loosening the demand lever locknut until the correct height is achieved.

The recessed slot on the opposite side is used to determine the setting of the poppet seat when the protrusion from the connector is 3.8mm as indicated in the service manuals.
