This tool is used as a fixture when separating the insert for demand lever of Mares second stage regulator from its hose connector as parts are sometimes difficult to be removed due to corrosion.

When the parts are stuck and the whole assembly slips in the casing, it is simply used by inserting the tool with a 6 mm hex key into the lever groove to stabilise it. For easy removal, it can be used in conjunction with a ratchet wrench, spanner or a vise. Note that the tool itself is not to be spinned. Prior to use, the lever is to be removed.

Made from stainless steel.
